Bardrill Corporation Ltd. is an unlisted public company which services the mining and  exploration industry as well as the pastoral industry throughout northern South Australia, South East and South West Queensland. The business was started in 1973 and traded as Kanowna Drilling until Bardrill Corporation Ltd was incorporated in 1983. 

 

Areas of operation include the Cooper Basin, Northern Flinders and Lake Eyre Region in South Australia.   Eromanga Basin and Roma Fairview Coal seam Gas Fields in Queensland.

 

Bardrill has been heavily involved with the construction of the majority of earthworks programs in the Cooper and Eromanga  Basins. These projects range from drilling site lease preparations, road construction and maintenance, process facility civil earthworks, all weather airstrips, construction with design services sourced through affiliated companies. Bardrill Corporation also has a direct involvement in large-scale environmental restoration programs as well as consultation in initial project planning an logistics.

 

Other services provided are remote site survey and land owner negotiations, water well drilling and water supply including pumping (air lift, pipeline and hauling) plus general transport and labour.

 

Bardrill maintains late model, fully serviced equipment, minimising down time and keeping pace with technology.

 

Plant and Equipment includes: dozers, graders, scrapers, multi-tyred rollers, sheepfoot rollers, front end loaders, backhoes, water tankers, tippers, tilt-tray truck and winch, rubbish skips, air compressors, lay flat hose, water pumps, water well drilling rig, mobile support camps and 4WD vehicles.

 

Employment Policy:  Bardrill Corporation has an ongoing policy of employment and training utilizing local personnel when undertaking all projects.

 

Personnel Qualifications: Our personnel have a wealth of knowledge and experience in earthmoving, transport and water requirements within the out-back, from area management through to all operators and drivers. Most division managers have 20 years experience in their respective fields.

 

Occupational Health and Safety procedures are also in place to assure safe efficiency in all  areas of Bardrill operations. Qualified OH&S representatives are incorporated in the management team.
